What each metric on your dashboard means

Open Analytics to see these. You can look at the last 7, 30 or 90 days. Daily charts are grouped using your organization's timezone, so check that it is set correctly in Settings → Business.

Conversations

Every chat session plus every phone call in the period. One visitor chatting once counts as one; one caller counts as one.

Bookings

Every booking created in the period, counted by when it was created — not by the date it is scheduled for. This includes bookings you entered yourself.

Conversion rate

The share of conversations that produced a booking: bookings attributed to a conversation, divided by conversations.

Only bookings that came from a chat, voice or web conversation count in the top of that fraction. Bookings you typed in yourself are deliberately excluded, because they did not come from a conversation and would flatter the number.

If conversion looks lower than you expect, check how many of your bookings are entered manually.

Revenue collected

The sum of payments that actually succeeded in the period, by payment date. Pending and failed payments are not counted, so this is money collected rather than money booked.

Calls

The number of phone calls in the period, shown in the activity chart.

Voice minutes

Your total call time. This is shown against your plan under Settings → Plan & Billing rather than on the Analytics page.

If a metric reads zero

A metric at zero when you know there was activity usually means the underlying channel isn't reporting yet rather than that nothing happened. Check the same period in Bookings or your conversation history, and if the two disagree, contact TalkRev support with the date range — that mismatch is exactly what we need to see.
